The National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Ministry of Ayush, has announced admissions for the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) programme for the academic session 2026–27, offering students an opportunity to pursue professional education in naturopathy and yoga at its flagship Nisarg Gram campus in Yewalewadi, Pune.

The admission notification comes as the institute expands its academic and clinical focus on naturopathy and yoga, combining traditional wellness practices with structured education, clinical training and research.

100 BNYS Seats Available for 2026–27

NIN is offering 100 seats for the five-and-a-half-year full-time residential BNYS programme for the 2026–27 academic session.

The programme consists of 4½ years of academic and clinical training, followed by a one-year Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI). Students will receive academic instruction alongside practical and clinical exposure in naturopathy and yoga.

The course is designed to provide students with comprehensive training in the principles and practices of naturopathic healthcare while developing their understanding of yoga as part of an integrated approach to wellness.

First Central Government Institution to Offer BNYS

The National Institute of Naturopathy is an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. The institute carries forward the legacy and vision associated with Mahatma Gandhi, who strongly advocated naturopathy and holistic approaches to health and well-being.

A major highlight of the programme is NIN’s academic affiliation with Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi.

NIN has become the first Central Government institution in India to offer the BNYS programme in affiliation with a Central University. The development represents an important step towards strengthening formal academic education, institutional standards and professional training in naturopathy and yoga.

Nisarg Gram Campus Offers Integrated Learning Environment

The BNYS programme will be conducted at NIN’s flagship Nisarg Gram campus in Yewalewadi, Pune.

Spread across approximately 25 acres, the campus has been developed as an integrated centre for naturopathy education, clinical training, research and wellness.
