The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, marked its 10th Foundation Day with significant academic, institutional and digital initiatives, celebrating a decade of achievements in Ayurveda education, research, clinical services and international cooperation. The milestone coincided with the conclusion of KAUMARACON 2026, a three-day international conference dedicated to advancing Ayurvedic approaches to child healthcare.

Organised by AIIA’s Department of Kaumarabhritya, the conference brought together international experts, researchers, academicians, clinicians, policymakers and industry representatives to explore the role of Ayurveda and Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM) in paediatric healthcare.

The concluding day witnessed the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), the launch of more than 15 academic publications and educational resources, and the introduction of new digital platforms designed to strengthen knowledge-sharing, research and entrepreneurship in the Ayush sector.

AIIA Strengthens Institutional Collaboration Through Two MoUs

A major highlight of the Foundation Day celebrations was the signing of two MoUs aimed at promoting institutional cooperation and expanding knowledge-sharing in Ayurveda.

The agreements were signed between AIIA and Rashtriya Ayurved Vidyapeeth, and between AIIA and Arogya Bharati. The partnerships are expected to strengthen collaboration in Ayurveda-related activities and support the wider exchange of academic and professional knowledge.

These initiatives reflect AIIA’s continued efforts to build stronger institutional networks and encourage coordinated approaches to the development of traditional medicine through education, research and professional engagement.

More Than 15 Academic Publications and Digital Initiatives Launched

The Foundation Day also witnessed the launch of more than 15 academic publications and educational resources, reinforcing the institute’s commitment to advancing Ayurveda scholarship and professional training.

Among the major launches was A Textbook of Research Methodology and Medical Statistics, which aims to support academic learning and research-related capacity building.

AIIA also introduced the e-course Foundations of Entrepreneurship & Startup Development for Ayush Professionals (FESDAP). The initiative is designed to promote entrepreneurial understanding and startup development among professionals working in the Ayush sector.

Another key development was the launch of the institute’s new website, compliant with the Digital Brand Identity Manual (DBIM). The updated digital platform marks an important step towards improving the institute’s online presence and digital communication.

Additionally, the eBook Rooted and Rising: Journey of All India Institute of Ayurveda was launched online, documenting the institution’s development, achievements and journey since its establishment.

Together, these initiatives highlight AIIA’s focus on integrating academic excellence with digital accessibility, professional development and institutional growth.
