There should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but there should also be no more attacks by any other party, including Hezbollah, against Israel. This could be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace — Let’s not blow it! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
Trump emphasized that a potential agreement was within reach and urged all sides to exercise restraint. He specifically called on Israel to halt further military actions in Lebanon while also demanding that Hezbollah and other groups cease attacks against Israel.
“There should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but there should also be no more attacks by any other party, including Hezbollah, against Israel,” he said.
