A festive night of electronic music and celebration in the Swiss city of Aarau turned into a scene of panic early Sunday after gunfire erupted at a crowded rave party, leaving one person dead and five others injured, including some who were seriously hurt.
The shooting took place at the Schachen horse-racing track, where the annual Aarau Rave was being held. Police said the incident occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m. as thousands of people were gathered at the techno event.
