NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the last 12 years of his government have been devoted to strengthening trust, accelerating development, and ensuring the welfare of citizens across the country. He emphasized that the government’s efforts have been guided by the principle of “Nation First” and supported by the blessings of 140 crore Indians.
Reflecting on the journey of governance over the past decade, the Prime Minister stated that his administration has worked tirelessly to empower key sections of society, including youth, women, and farmers. According to him, numerous initiatives launched during this period have aimed at creating opportunities, improving livelihoods, and expanding access to essential services for millions of people.
PM Modi said the government has left no stone unturned in its mission to bring meaningful change to the lives of citizens. He noted that policies focused on social welfare, economic growth, infrastructure expansion, and technological advancement have helped transform various sectors of the country.
Highlighting India’s growing global stature, the Prime Minister remarked that the nation has established a new identity on the world stage. He pointed to major achievements in infrastructure development and the rapid growth of the digital ecosystem as examples of the country’s progress. Over the years, India has witnessed significant improvements in road networks, railway modernization, airport expansion, and digital connectivity, which have contributed to economic growth and improved public services.
The Prime Minister also underscored the impact of India’s digital revolution, stating that technological advancements have enhanced governance and brought services closer to citizens. Digital platforms and technology-driven initiatives have played a crucial role in improving transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in various government programs.
PM Modi reiterated his government’s commitment to building a developed India, or “Viksit Bharat,” in the coming years. He said the vision of a stronger and more prosperous nation remains at the center of the government’s agenda. According to him, sustained efforts in development, innovation, and inclusive growth will be essential to achieving this national goal.
The Prime Minister emphasized that service to the people, good governance, and economic prosperity will continue to guide the government’s policies and decisions. He expressed confidence that India’s growth trajectory will remain strong with the active participation and support of citizens.
