KOLKATA: The tragic train accident involving a school van at a level crossing in West Bengal’s Murshidabad district has left the state in mourning, with several lives lost and many others injured. Railway authorities also declared that those who suffered serious injuries would receive ₹2.5 lakh, while compensation for victims with minor injuries would be provided according to existing railway relief norms.
