Iran has announced the launch of a large-scale military campaign named “Eye for an Eye”, claiming it carried out coordinated missile and drone strikes against multiple United States military installations across the Gulf region. The operation comes in response to the latest wave of American airstrikes on Iranian military assets, marking another major escalation in the ongoing conflict between Washington and Tehran.
Iran Claims Coordinated Strikes on US Bases
According to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the offensive targeted US military facilities in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan and Oman. Iranian state media described the attacks as a direct response to what Tehran called “continued American aggression” against its territory and military infrastructure.
