Tata Consultancy Services, a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions company, has announced the launch of the 2026 edition of its flagship inter-school quiz competition, TCS InQuizitive. Registrations are now open for students in Delhi, inviting young minds to participate in one of India’s most prestigious knowledge-based competitions.

Focus On Artificial Intelligence And Future Skills

Now in its 28th year, TCS InQuizitive continues to evolve with changing technological trends. The 2026 edition will place a strong emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI), aiming to spark curiosity, enhance analytical thinking and promote gamified learning among school students.

The competition is designed to encourage students to explore emerging technologies while developing critical thinking skills that are essential for future careers. Through an engaging quiz format, students will gain exposure to topics shaping the world around them.

Who Can Participate?

The competition is open to students studying in Grades 8 to 12, including those enrolled in pre-university and junior college programmes.

This year, TCS InQuizitive will be conducted across 12 Indian cities:

  • Nagpur
  • Hyderabad
  • Chennai
  • Delhi
  • Bhubaneswar
  • Kochi
  • Kolkata
  • Mumbai

Winning teams from each city will qualify for the semi-finals before advancing to the national finale, which will be held in Mumbai.

Delhi has consistently shown strong participation in the competition. In the previous edition, 232 teams representing 50 schools from the national capital took part in the event.
