UPITS 2026 Launches Nationwide Roadshow Campaign From Delhi

Fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show to be held from September 25–29 in Greater Noida, aiming to boost trade, exports, MSMEs, investment, and global business partnerships.

NEW DELHI: The promotional campaign for the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 was officially launched with a grand roadshow in New Delhi on Thursday. The event marked the beginning of a nationwide outreach programme aimed at engaging exporters, buyers, industry leaders, trade bodies, investors, and business stakeholders from across the country.

Jointly organised by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and (IEML), UPITS has emerged as one of India’s most prominent state-led trade exhibitions. The fourth edition of the trade show will be held from September 25 to 29, 2026, at the .

The Delhi roadshow was attended by several senior government officials and industry representatives. Uttar Pradesh MSME Minister was the chief guest, while Minister of State for MSME , Principal Secretary of MSME and Export Promotion Department , Ministry of External Affairs Joint Secretary , IEML Chairman , CEO and Additional Director General were among the distinguished attendees.

Addressing the gathering, Bhupendra Chaudhary said that UPITS has evolved into a powerful platform showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s industrial capabilities, entrepreneurial strength, export potential, and cultural heritage. He noted that the event has significantly contributed to strengthening MSMEs, promoting One District One Product (ODOP) initiatives, expanding market access, and generating new business opportunities. He added that as Uttar Pradesh moves towards becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy, UPITS will continue to play a crucial role in driving trade, investment, and economic growth.

Hans Raj Vishwakarma highlighted India’s long tradition of trade fairs and marketplaces that have empowered artisans, craftsmen, and small businesses for generations. He described UPITS as a modern global platform that connects Uttar Pradesh’s indigenous strengths and entrepreneurial spirit with international markets.

Speaking at the event, Shashi Bhushan Lal Susheel said the trade show reflects the Uttar Pradesh government’s vision of positioning the state as a preferred destination for business, manufacturing, exports, and investments. Through the roadshow series, the government aims to strengthen engagement with stakeholders across India and increase participation from businesses, institutions, and buyers.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar said the overwhelming response received by UPITS over the past three editions demonstrates the confidence that industry and trade communities have placed in the platform. He noted that the event has successfully brought together manufacturers, exporters, startups, artisans, investors, and policymakers under one roof, creating meaningful business opportunities and collaborations.

Highlighting the international dimension of the event, Suvidh Shah said the increasing participation of overseas buyers reflects growing global interest in products and business opportunities emerging from Uttar Pradesh. He added that FIEO remains committed to facilitating quality international buyer participation and helping exporters access new global markets.

The previous edition of UPITS, held in September 2025, was inaugurated by Prime Minister . During his address, the Prime Minister praised the event for promoting MSMEs, strengthening local enterprises, and advancing the vision of “Make in India, Make for the World.”

The trade show has witnessed steady growth since its inception. The 2025 edition attracted more than 507,000 visitors, including over 140,000 business-to-business participants. A total of 2,228 exhibitors showcased their products across more than 35,000 square metres of exhibition space. The event also welcomed over 550 overseas buyers from 85 countries, facilitating thousands of business meetings and generating significant commercial opportunities.

UPITS 2026 is expected to further expand its domestic and international reach through a series of roadshows and buyer outreach programmes. The event will showcase Uttar Pradesh’s manufacturing strength, MSME sector, ODOP products, innovation ecosystem, exports, handicrafts, tourism, cuisine, culture, and emerging industries. Organisers also plan to strengthen initiatives such as One District One Cuisine (ODOC) in the upcoming edition.

As Uttar Pradesh continues its journey towards becoming a trillion-dollar economy, UPITS 2026 is expected to serve as a major platform for promoting trade, investment, exports, innovation, and global partnerships.

The growing scale of UPITS highlights Uttar Pradesh’s ambition to establish itself as a leading economic and manufacturing hub in India. The event has evolved beyond a conventional trade fair into a strategic platform that supports MSMEs, promotes local products, attracts foreign buyers, and encourages investment.
